Trees and plants of Pauline's Swamp

Trees

Many of the trees in the swamp have been heavily infested with ivy so were in danger of falling in high winds - indeed, some have fallen. The ivy was mostly ring-cut in spring 2017. Some has been left as it is good for wildlife. Controlling ivy will be an ongoing management task.
