Grass snakes have been seen in Pauline's Swamp from time-to-time but in the spring of 2020 a nest must have hatched as several small Grass Snakes were evident in the pond. A clutch of eggs is likely to be around 12 to 20 (exceptionally 8 - 40) so there must have been a good size nest in Pauline's Swamp. I probably photographed 4 juveniles.
