Open Day at Pauline's Swamp, September 3rd 2017

The television displayed live pictures from a drone lent and operated by Kingfishers Bridge. When the drone was not flying, pictures from the drone flying over Kingfisher's Bridge were shown. Or the television was switched to display a rolling slideshow of photos taken by myself, Richard John Torrens, and displayed on a Raspberry Pi running the slideshow program !Thump running on RISC OS.

These are pictures taken at the 2017 Open Day

Activities included

• Owl pellet dissection.
• A display of moths
• A dragonfly section
• Pond dipping - mostly run by myself, Richard John Torrens. However there was very little water in the pond and it is late in the year so much of the wildlife has left.
